How to Connect Third-Party Integrations

Connect Google Calendar, Calendly, GoHighLevel, and Castrum to your Romulus agents for live appointment booking during calls.

Quick Start β€” Connect Google Calendar in 3 Minutes

πŸš€ Most common integration: Google Calendar

  1. Open your agent β†’ Integrations tab β†’ click the Google card

  2. Enter a label (e.g. "Main Calendar") and click Integrate with Google

  3. Select your Google account in the popup

  4. Click Allow on the permissions screen

Done. Your agent can now book appointments into Google Calendar.


Opening Integrations

From the side menu, click Integrations. All available integrations are shown as cards. Click any card to open the connection flow. You can connect multiple accounts for the same integration β€” each connected account is labelled so you can tell them apart.


Google Calendar

Connects your Google Workspace calendar so agents can book appointments directly during calls.

Before you begin

Make sure pop-ups are allowed in your browser. The Google sign-in opens in a popup window.

How to connect

  1. Click the Google card.

  2. In the Integration label field, enter a name (e.g. "Main Calendar", "Demo Account").

  3. Click Integrate with Google.

  4. A Google account chooser popup opens. Select the account to connect.

  5. Google shows a permissions screen. Click Allow.

  6. The modal updates to show Authorized with a green checkmark.

To connect an additional Google account, click Integrate Another and repeat the steps.


Calendly

Connects your Calendly account so agents can book events using your Calendly availability.

  1. Click the Calendly card.

  2. Enter a label for this connection.

  3. Click Integrate with Calendly.

  4. A Calendly login popup opens. Enter your Calendly email and click Continue.

  5. Complete the Calendly login. The connection is established.


GoHighLevel

Connects your GoHighLevel account for CRM and calendar booking.

  1. Click the GoHighLevel card.

  2. Enter a label.

  3. Click Integrate with GoHighLevel.

  4. A LeadConnectorHQ login popup opens. Enter your GHL email and password.

  5. Click Sign In.


Castrum

Connects your Castrum account for CRM and calendar booking.

  1. Click the Castrum card.

  2. Enter a label.

  3. Click Integrate with Castrum.

  4. The LeadConnectorHQ login popup opens. Enter your Castrum email and password.

  5. Click Sign In


Managing Connected Integrations

Once connected, each card shows the account as a labelled card with a green status indicator:

  • Pencil icon β€” edit the label

  • Trash icon β€” delete the connection. Any agents using this integration for booking will need to be reconfigured.


Common Issues

The integration popup does not open

Make sure pop-ups are allowed in your browser for the Romulus dashboard URL.

I connected the wrong Google account

Click the trash icon on the connected card to remove it, then click Integrate with Google again to connect the correct account.

My GoHighLevel calendars are not showing in the Book an Appointment action

Make sure you are selecting the correct connected account in the action. Also check that the GoHighLevel account has calendars set up.
