How to configure your Facebook Chatbot

Step 1: Log in to Romulus Chat

  1. Go to your Romulus Control Panel and click on Chat in the side menu.

  2. In the Romulus Chat Home, click “Create New Bot” at the top.

Step 2: Choose the type of Bot

  1. Select the area of use that best fits your needs.

2. Click on Facebook Chatbot

Step 3: Connect your Facebook account

  • Click “Login.”

  • In the popup window that opens, sign in with your Facebook credentials.

Note: If prompted, enable popups from your browser.

Step 4: Select pages and business

  1. Choose the business

  2. Select the Facebook page (or pages) where you want to enable the Chatbot

  3. Click Continue

4. Review the summary and click “Save.”

5. On the confirmation screen, click “OK.”

Step 5: Complete the connection

  1. Return to Romulus Chat.

  2. Click “Connect” next to the enabled Facebook page.

Your Facebook Chatbot is now active and visible in the Bots section. From here, you can proceed with the Chatflow configuration.

Have you connected multiple pages?

Repeat steps 1 to 4, then click “Reconnect” and afterwards “Connect” to finalize the connection of the second bot.

Then go back to the Romulus Chat panel and click “Connect” to link the remaining Chatbot.
